نظریه رویه facet theory

نظریه رویه به منظور کمک به دانشمندان برای تدوین نظریه های ساختاری و نظریه های دیگر و آزمون آن­ها به طور تجربی توسط لوییس گاتمن ارایه شد. این نظریه رهنمودهایی برای تحلیل و ساختار محتوای تحقیق، تدوین فرضیه، طراحی مشاهدات و روش­های مربوط به پردازش داده­های تجربی را ارایه می­دهد. هدف اصلی نظریه رویه تسهیل دانش انباشته و ایجاد شرایطی برای کشف قوانین در حیطه های حقیقی تحقیق است. مفاهیم و تکنیک های تدوین شده در نظریه رویه مانند نقشه بندی جملات، فرضیه های منطقه ای، مقیاس بندی چند بعدی رویه ای، مقیاس بندی تک بعدی و چندگانه در تحقیقات متنوعی در علوم رفتاری مفید بوده است و بینش­های جدیدی را در شغل و سازمان­، ارزش و نگرش، هوش، بازاریابی، ارتباط، آموزش، سلامت، روانشناسی اجتماعی، روانشناسی بالینی و روانشناسی سازمانی به وجود آورده است.

این نظریه، راهبردی برای تحقیق در روانشناسی و علومی است که سیستم های پیچیده رفتار را بررسی می کند. این نظریه مبتنی بر رسمی سازی محتوای تحقیق و مبتنی بر کشف قوانین ثابت و تحقیق مبتنی بر نظریه در این علوم است. رسمی سازی محتوای تحقیق از طریق استفاده از نقشه بندی جملات بخصوص تعمیم طرح آزمایشی فیشر به طرح نظریه ها انجامی می شود، در حالی که روش تحلیل داده های اصلی (به طور قابل ملاحظه ای تحلیل کم ترین فضا رویه ای (faceted smallest space analysis) و مقیاس پردازی چندگانه (multiple scaling)) از نظریه عامل ها و مقیاس پردازی گاتمن منتج شده است. این پیشرفت ها به دلیل نیاز به جدا کردن روش های تحقیق از ماهیت نظریه و داده ها در علوم اجتماعی و روانشناسی، به وجود آمده است. در نظریه رویه، رویه عبارت است از یک مجموعه که مولفه حاصلضرب دکارتی (Cartesian product) است. ضرب دکارتی یا حاصلضرب دکارتی دو مجموعه عملگری در ریاضیات است که برای ایجاد زوج مرتب از اعضای دو مجموعه عمل‌وند آن به‌کار می‌رود. با استفاده از این عمل تمام ترکیبات ممکن دوتایی از اعضای دو مجموعه ایجاد خواهد شد. در زوج‌های مرتّب تولید شده عضو نخست از اولین مجموعه و عضو دو از دومین مجموعه انتخاب می‌شود.

در واقع نظریه رویه یک راهبرد تحقیقی است که تحلیل رسمی محتوای تحقیق (با استفاده از نقشه بندی جمله) را با تحلیل داده ها حقیقی (روش های چند متغیره مثل تحلیل کم ترین فضای رویه ای (faceted smallest space analysis) و مقیاس چندگانه (multiple scaling) با استفاده از تحلیل مقیاس تراکمی رتبه ای پاره ای مختصات پایه (partial order scalogram analysis by base coordinates)) ترکیب می کند. ترکیب طرح محتوا و تحلیل داده برای تدوین نظریه و اندازه گیری معنادار درعلوم رفتاری که در آن سیستم های پیچیده با متغیرهای بسیار زیادی مطالعه می شود، بسیار مهم است. نقشه بندی کردن جملات منجر به انتخاب متعادل متغیرهای مشاهده ای از جامعه محتوای مورد مطالعه می شود. با تمرکز متغیرهای مشاهده شده (ستون ماتریس داده ها)، تحلیل کم ترین فضای رویه ای، نمایش هندسی مفهوم-فضا را ارایه می دهد و آن را به چند ناحیه تقسیم می کند و بنابراین بررسی سیستماتیک ساختار مفهومی را ممکن می سازد. با تمرکز بر افراد مشاهده شده (ردیف های ماتریس داده)، تحلیل مقیاس تراکمی رتبه ای پاره ای مختصات پایه، مقیاس­های بهینه اندازه گیری برای سنجش افراد را تدارک می بیند. مدل های سنتی پیش بینی وجود عامل ها (متغیرهای زیربنایی) که از طریق آن متغیرها و افراد را می توان بررسی کرد، که مشاهدات تجربی را تعیین می کند، فرض می کند. نظریه رویه مدرن نشان می دهد که دو نوع عامل موثر هستند: رویه های (افزاز یا جز بندی) مفهوم-فضا برای بررسی متغیرها و مقیاس های (مختصات ها) فضای اندازه گیری برای بررسی افراد. دو نوع عامل به دو مسیر برای به دست آوردن هدف پیش بینی منجر می شود. نتایج ریاضی در مقیاس چندگانه و به خصوص مقدمه ضریب تازه تدوین شده شباهت ساختاری به همگرایی دو مسیر کمک منجر می شود.

تحلیل کم­ترین فضا (smallest spaces analysis (SSA)) و تحلیل عاملی رویکردهای مفیدی ولی با اهداف متفاوت هستند. هدف تحلیل کم­ترین فضا توصیف و ارایه جهان احتمالی سوالاتی است که یک ابزار را تشکیل می­دهد. هدف تحلیل عاملی، ارایه ساختار زیربنایی یک ابزار با استفاده از مجموعه ای سوال است. جنبه مهم  تحلیل کم­ترین فضا این است که قادر است سوالات یا متغیرهای گمشده را که باید وجود می داشت ولی وجود ندارد را نشان دهد.

تحلیل عاملی، ساختار را از دید تک بعدی مورد بررسی قرار می­ دهد: متغیرها باید دارای بار بالایی در یک عامل باشند و در عامل های دیگر بار نداشته باشند. این رویکرد تحلیلی می تواند به دیدگاهی تک بعدی از پدیده مورد بررسی منجر شود که ممکن است برای پدیده­های اجتماعی و روانشناسی که ماهیتاً چند بعدی هستند مناسب نباشد. تحلیل کم­ترین فضا منجر به بررسی روابط چند بعدی می شود. مثلاً، عاملی که به وسیله تحلیل عاملی شناسایی می­شود را می­توان در تحلیل کم­ترین فضا به کرانه یک پیوستار در نظر گرفت. تحلیل کم­ترین فضا و مقیاس بندی چند بعدی (multidimensional scaling)، راه حلی برای نمایش دیداری که منجر رویکرد جامع برای تفسیر داده­ها می شود، ارایه می دهد.
